The use of my website is generally possible without providing personal data (e.g. name, e-mail address), but I point out that data transimition over the Internet (e.g. delivering my web-pages to your device) involves the transmission of the IP-address to this web server. Some parties may judge IP addresses may constitute personal data.
Your personal data are processed by me only in accordance with the provisions of German data privacy laws. The following provisions describe the type, scope and purpose of collecting, processing and utilizing personal data. This data privacy policy applies only to my web pages. If links on my pages route you to other pages, please inquire there about how your data are handled in such cases.
What I Collect and Receive
In order for me to provide you the best possible experience on my website, I need to collect and process certain information. Depending on your use of the Services, that may include:
- Contact me via email — for example, when you send me questions or comments, I will collect your name, email address, message, etc. I use this data solely in connection with answering the queries I receive.
- Usage data — when you visit my site, I will store: the website from which you visited me from, the parts of my site you visit, the date and duration of your visit, your anonymised IP address, information from the device (device type, operating system, screen resolution, language, country you are located in, and web browser type) you used during your visit, and more. I process this usage data in Matomo Analytics for statistical purposes, to improve my site and to recognize and stop any misuse.
- Raw server logs (containing your IP address) are deleted on a daily basis by the website hoster, so the access data they contain is no more than 24 hours old.
Without your explicit consent or a legal basis, your personal data are not passed on to third parties outside the scope of fulfilling this contract.
Information about cookies
To optimize my web presence, I use session cookies. These are small text files stored in your computer's main memory. These cookies are deleted after you close the browser. I do currently not use long-term cookies, which remain on your computer.
Disclosure
